National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an international event that sees thousands of ‘WriMos’ attempting to write a novel before midnight, November 30.
That’s 1,667 words a day. That’s a lot (**nervous wee**) and not so straightforward, particularly when you have to squeeze those words in-between work, kids, partner, friends, sleep and meals. Regardless, I’ve set myself the challenge to develop a daily writing habit and complete the first draft of my novel.
I suspect there’ll be some unexpected outcomes, and I think that will be the most exciting bit – possibly more YaYo, than NaNo.
